S.A.F.E. (Support, Assist, Facilitate, and Empower) gives counselors the tools they need to conduct an entire safety protocol for suicidal, homicidal, and non-suicidal (self-injury) students. The protocol includes the student profile, assessment for all ideations, psychosis observation, and student safety plan, plan of action, conference notices, and authorization of health disclosure. Flow maps are also included to guide counselors, faculty, and staff through the step by step S.A.F.E. processes. In addition, counseling interventions and activities are included to use when working with students who have these ideations
